Someone had requested a store front dealer in the DFW area on another thread. I'm too lazy and busy to find the thread so I started a new one. Here's a dealer: House of Blades in Fort Worth 817-237-7041

that is a great place to hold knives in your hand. they have what seems to be thousands of knives for sale. I have been there a few times.

Maybe it has changed over the years. I went there back in the early 80's and the owner tried to sell me a Beretta folding knife. It did not have the pouch sheath that came with them but instead he tried to convice me that it was to be opened and then put in a fixed blade sheath. He was always very arrogant, snotty and rude to customers. So, for the remainder of the 16 years I lived there, I never went back.

Now, you are calling it Fort Worth, but I believe the store was in Jacksboro.

It did have tons of knives though. Too bad I could not have given them more of my $$. I just don't deal with schysters (scheister is also a common, but not truly correct spelling)

Not even close. This is on the loop of Ft Worth. Maybe the same owner perhaps, maybe not. I have no idea, but not anywhere close to Jacksboro.

different owner now(and has moved to current location) still family owned but the original guy died in 2005

I was just in there 2 days ago and i saw no esee knives in there, just some ontario versons.

That being said, yes it is a great place to handle knives to see if they fit in hand well but they seem also to charge full retail price on everything

I'm just passing on what Blueridge Knives told me since they sell to him

I really wish you guys had a dealer in the el paso area, only one decent knife shop I've found, and the guy sells everything at a firm msrp, and they only have Ontario versions... Sad face

We use to have a dealer in El Paso but they haven't ordered in a long tiem. I think all the ESEE knives wound up in the hands of drug cartels across the border and now they're being used to cut heads off of victims and to kill hogs :D

No doubt. All the ESEE blades are now in Juarez with all the full autos, hand grenades, C4 and claymores that are bought at gun shows by working class Americans and smuggled over the border for Me-hi-co.

It was me and I really appreciate you getting this out for me. I will give these guys a call today. Either way I plan on owning a Izula this week!!

hi, if your just wanting to try them out before you buy one your welcome to come out to granbury, i've got pretty much one of everything.

Wow, I used to live in Granbury, like 25yrs ago. I was just a little calf then. My, I bet the world has changed.

I went there to buy my Izula. Emailed and they said they had one in stock but didn't give the price. When I went there it was $93. Not even the complete kit, just the knife (at least according to the salesman who did not double check. Only the knife was in the case, no sheath.) I questioned him on the huge markup and his response was "We sell at full retail. Plus, you get free sharpening for life." I told him the internet prices (which were one of the highest on the net as well from what I now know) and his only response was "Sorry", then he took it from me and put it back in the case.

I had driven about an hour to get there so I did look around. I am into kitchen knives and their prices on the high end of those was fairly spot on, so I don't know what was up. I didn't see any other Esee knives.

I am about 2 hours from you, but I might have to take you up on that soon. I will send you an email to give you my contact info.

House of Blades is a cool place to go and look around in. Their prices are too high for my liking. I'll pay a little extra to pick something up in a brick and motar business, but I'm not going to pay prices than have been inflated 50%.

The only time I'll go in there is around Christmas when they have some buy 1 get 1 free deals which brings the price down.
