Up for sale is my Fortis Spacematic Pilot Professional Automatic Date Watch 595.22.158.1. This is an older Tritium lumed Pilots watch that I originally purchased back in 2005. The tritium dial has started to develop a nice patina.
This is a 40mm watch with out the crown and has 46.5mm lug to lug length. The movement is a Swiss ETA 2836-2 that has been serviced. These are very nice older Swiss tool watches that are made to be serviced and will last a long time if cared for.
I purchased this watch back in 2005 from an authorized dealer. The watch was regularly worn and then unfortunately dropped. I sent the watch over to Motor City watch works for a full service and repair in 2010.
The movement was serviced, the crystal replaced, and gaskets were changed out to the tune of $150+. A receipt is included for this work. The watch was then serviced once again back in May of this year and is currently running at +6.3 sec a day which is very healthy.
There is still some damage on one of the lugs and the case of the watch and there are some light scratches on the crystal which is hard to photograph and there is also a small mark on the minute hand. All the issues are cosmetic and the watch is mechanical sound.
Specs:
Stainless steel, brushed/beadblast finish. Flat black dial , ETA 2836-2, Hacking seconds hand, Luminous hands, Luminous markers and numerals in Arabic style, Day and date bi-lingual (English+German), Screw-down crown
Size 40.00 mm, lug width 20 mm, Water resistant 200 M
Comes with:
Full paperwork and box
Vintage Italian leather strap, I will include a Nato if I can find one
Asking for $SOLD Shipped via FedEx including fees.
Not interested in trades at this time unless it a full sized Sebenza and will only consider trading with Gold members.
