Forum acting strange on chrome app on cellphone

Yes, Google has dropped the ball. This is not the first time Google has introduced bugs into their browser. Stuff happens and no one is perfect.

Before its release, software should be tested on all major browsers. Chrome is the world's most popular browser. So someone may have dropped the ball.
There have been no changes to the forum software since before this issue arose. Last software update was last July. Chrome was working fine for months ...until it suddenly wasn't.

I think this is correct.

Indeed. We're all Beta testers now, whether we like it or not. Apple, Andriod, Google, etc. all do this now. We'll get what they give us, and we'll like it!
I wish the car companies had not decided this was a good idea. I've had to bring my car to the dealer multiple times for software updates to my car's computer.

I came to a crossroads this year; buy a new car or invest some money in my trusty old vehicle. After some looking, I decided to go with the latter, not in a small part due to these types of things. Fixed up my '99 4Runner (timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets, new suspension with 1" lift over factory, new tires) and am happy I did! 270k on the odo, hopefully ready for the next 250k! ETA - and NO software updates! 🤣
