Nothing better than a Wharncliffe Trapper. My favorite pattern
Has to have 2 blades!! Will do anything you need it to.

I voted for two blades also. Standard WT configuration works for me. Both blades with nail nicks and nicely swedged.
 
Since looking at some of the photos posted of the wharncliff trappers with a clip blade I have changed my preference from a pen secondary to the same configuration as posted by Waynorth.

YES and YES .. Exactly as shown. Thank you Charlie and Jason for sharing the photos. Please make both blades the same everything .. equal length, nail nick (and position), swedges, finish .. heck, just make it exact the same. What is the closed length on those two TB trappers?

I'm going to vote for one blade - gives us a chance to spend more money on fancier fixin's: scale material, bolster finishing, liners, steel, etc. Plus, we recently had a clip/wharncliffe primary/primary configuration on the 2009 knife.
 
I had to vote one blade, because, as stated above, I'd like to have some room to play around with fancier clothes on the knife: e. g. bolster work, nice scales, fancy shield, custom-like blade finish, etc.

I'd hate to end up with a $200 knife!:eek:

The vote is leaning strongly for two.

If we're going to have two blades and call it a trapper, let's have two blades of equal length -- just like the length of the blades shown in Charlie's picture.
 
Same as Trand please, but I would also like to see a lanyard hole and locking blades(or blade) and a shield. And a long-matchstrike pull(nail-nick) and swedges too!
 
One Wharncliff for me please. I almost always use the same blade on any knife. Having only one to choose from prevents some of the guilt...;)
