Forum knives

A bit of nostalgia; back to 2015!! This was GEC's proposal (with our/my input)!!#81 blade forum 5 11.jpg
Not approved (I loved that design!!)!! It later became the City Stock!!!
BF finally approved the Canal Street!! This is the prototype! Forum 2015 w Amber 1.jpgForum 2015 w Amber 2.jpg
And Eric made all of them; his last big job at Canal Street!!
As I recall, they were all handled through Barry's ( gunstockjack gunstockjack 's) website. He did all the money collection and shipping for very little money!!
Relatively inexpensive knife!!

I found this in Word;

2015: Another Year, Another BF Knife!

The process is intense, somewhat scattered, and reasonably democratic! I like putting together all the opinions and ideas about pattern, blades, handles and all the other details that bring our “celebration” knives together. I say “celebration”, because that is what it represents to me, and hopefully to all of you; a celebration of a place where we can gather and talk about one of our favorite subjects!

It is sometimes raucous, but I am amazed that several hundred people can give and take, compromise really, and come up with something that looks so good! And then to have this knife constructed by one of our own members – can it get any better??

The Credits!

Thanks!!!!! To Canal Street for facilitating this production, and thanks to Eric who supervised and literally bled for the knives! More thanks to Liam for the labels on the boxes; he designed and printed them.

Kudos to Barry who collected and protected our money, and shipped out all the knives. This guy is our heavy lifter!!!

The Mods who kept the peace are a credit to BladeforumS, who we also thank for letting us do it our way!

To all others who helped along the way, may I offer thanks from all of us!

Me, I just get to bask in the glory of all these people!

Use your new Bladeforums knife in good health, and never, ever forget to oil the joints!!!

The clip spey isn't a bad combo at all. But I like that sheepsfoot clip half stockman! (or whatever you'd call it 😝 not a city stock bc no spey?)
