Can't hurt as much as getting hit with a Strider PAB. Uh-oh! That other forum again ... :footinmou

No, just foolin' with ya. I can't see any problem in mentioning the Usualsuspect forum, but there are rules on both forums not to cross link threads. On the USN, if you even mention BF your thread will first get a lot of venomous replies and then it will be locked. The locking seems to be policy, the venomous replies are just the way many (not all by any means) over there react to the mention of BF.

There are gentler, better behaved forums than BF and there are those that are less well behaved, some, much less well behaved. Personally, I think BF has a great balance. I like it when a little excitement erupts every once in awhile.

He mentioned that other place and we all know that's verboten.

I'm not sure if I'd rather be hit with a strat or a Busse. Seems it'd suck either way. I think a better idea would be to keep your distance. Like the old saying goes; I wouldn't want to bring a guitar to a gunfight...

Brings to mind the movie classic "Desperado". Now there is one bad ass guitar player. Fun movie too.

Phil and Dangerer, i agree, nice avatars, mean looking firearms, only one thing missing...

A sexy redhead (My wife, then girlfriend) to hold them.

I know the place you speak of harmony central what a great place eh :barf:
BF Is quite simply put the greatest forum of them all
We can talk about any thing we wish on the comunity Very Few other forums do that and the members and they way they conduct themselves on this site make it what it is so we must be the best people ;)

Ps I play a seagull s-6

I'd like to think that it's because the members here are by and large self policing. It's certainly not because of moderation because it's pretty rare when a moderator has to step in. Instead, it seems that a laid back, "come on in and pull up a chair" community just works better... thanks in no small part to the great people who come here and share their knowledge, ideas, & enthusiasm.

Hello Gerard.. never, ever go to a guitar board for music advice unless you're looking for a flame-fest. I've had my share of experiences.

Hey I'm still a member of Harmony Central :o... But I'm part of the crowd that moved over to Cyber Jammin.

I do agree though, this place is nice.

Glock - forget the tele.. and get yourself a Les Paul. The guitar's neck might snap.. but the body is massive! Either that or stab him with a BC Rich Beast ;)

The SG is my favorite guitar(hey I started to play because of Angus Young.. so I'm a little biased)

But I was talking about a guitar to smash on someone's head.

Your SG wouldn't perform very vell. ;)

Sometimes the things go differently here as well, there are some inherently “flammable” subjects what is better to do not touch to do not provoke quite impolite discussion.
However in general here is one of the most mature and polite Net communities I have the honor to be a member.
