After a couple of years as member of the mighty BladeForums, there are certain members who's opinions, suggestions, and insight that I always look for in threads (in General Discussion, mind you). I won't post who I look for, simply because I want to see if others are on the same page as me and I don't want to sway opinions beforehand. I will, however, chime in once my 'top member opinion-givers' hit the 10 mark.

(please keep in mind that, eventhough I don't have a phenomenal amount of posts, I have been an AVID reader since I joined. I just don't feel the need to chime in unless overwhelmed)

Be well!

some are popular with big post count
some are informative
some are imformative and popular
some are imformative but not popular

i stick to the last 3 typs

Many of those mentioned above

Jeff Clark - all around but esp sharpening

yuzuha - knowledge of stones

QuietOned - knowledge of sharpening and many tweaks w/ edgepro (alas spends more time onthe other forum as Quietone)

Cliff Stamp - the name that shall not be uttered?

After reading my own, Ren and VG make me laugh, I always read Mr. Levines comments also most of the old timers, Codger_64, Danbo, Ed Fowler, fracmeister, K.V. Collucci, RyanMalpiede, SharpByCoop, TheKnifeCollector, TorzJohnson, all the knife makers from Sal to DR and inbetween.

I also like reading Labella , Bastid, and I always read and join in troll bashing threads. Long live W&C and the Cove.

Mostly though I read what catches my eye in the tag line, a few well chosen words always peaks my curiosity.

Well, nobody's mentioned Thombrogan, Buzzbait, or Glockman99 , so I thought I'd add 'em. I second all of those already mentioned, too.

Regards,
