I always pay careful attention to company representatives and prominent makers. People like Mr. Levine are also prioritized.

I have an obscure one that is at the top of my own list.

Samek, the guy can bend leather and mod a knife like nobody's business.

I'll add pluss one's to Thombrogan, Clyde Stump, Morimotom, and most of the rest of the folks already mentioned.

There are also a couple of guys that will get me to open a thread if I see they started it or posted on it, Gravelface, Mymindisamob, KAAK, Unclehammy, Progunner,

I do have a couple of knifemakers, or steelartists, as I would prefer to call them that I keep an eye on, Stag&Steel, Bailey Knives, and I just found one that only sells on the board once in a great while, because his stuf is spoken for way to fast for it to go up for sale, J. Neilson.

I know that there are many more that deserve mention, but I have a short attention span and not much experience.

Oh I also check on what thegratenate has posted, as I have a tendancy to forget once in a while.

Joe Talmadge and Ed Schempp. I wish I could retain a quarter of the knowledge the put into every post. Also, the occasional regulation by Rat Finkenstein will make my day.

Many more, I'm sure.

Esav Benyamin; all knifemakers and "modification experts"; Bastid; jackknife; most company representatives including but not limited to Thomas W, Sal Glesser and Doug Ritter; retailers including but not limited to Michael Dye and AG Russel; Bernard Levine; there are others, but I can't think of their names right now. I listen to Esav because he is a well grounded former postal employee, and those are a rare breed, and others should learn from them! Naw, seriously, Esav is one of the most knowledgeable on here, and I would like to meet him at the next NJKCA meeting.

There are so many to list, but a few come to mind:

Knifeaholic - Extremely knowledgeable about traditionals
Muskrat Man - a very talented knife mechanic
Codger_64 - Schrade historian and researcher
Jackknife - Great stories that take you back...

The EASIEST to find is Cougarwhuperdupperblupper. All I gotta do is make a post and sure as shootin, he will post almost immediately.

With a big picture of a truck.

I really like those posts.

Edited to add that I could have gotten this post ...MOVED... in 22 milliseconds. Except that the "suitability" of the topic was decided very early with the "right" name chosen as a "fave."
