Forums migrated, software updates, some features disabled

Forums have been moved to the new server. We've also updated to the latest version of the forums software so there will be some changes and weirdness. Not all the add-ons that we use are currently compatible with the new version of the software, most notably the Feedback system, but we're expecting an update to that to be pushed shortly. Until then trader feedback is temporarily disabled.

Thank you for your patience as we work through this. Once all updates are complete then new features will be rolled out and other issues looked at.
 
Just FYI - I noticed that some of the older IMGUR links we used in posts, those links snagged via "grab link" button on the IMGUR post page, no longer show thumbnails (i.e. for IMGUR post that has multiple pictures in it).

But, If we re-post the same link today via the same method, some new ones DO show up as thumbnails (at least the first time they load, as I tried it here and refreshing the page made the thumbnail go away again). Other times choosing "grab link" on an IMGUR post parses the link to show the wrong incomplete IMGUR link. I tried to edit this post so that it didn't show the link, but a thumbnail, and only half the link was parsed and it showed someone else's picture, due to the end of the link being removed to my post. I had to put my Imgur post link inside a "code" box to get a working link - still no thumbnail for an IMGUR post 😭

But, if the link is via using the "get share links" button while on a single pic in the post, the single images still show up.

I had one of my best meals last year in Paris on Bateaux Parisiens, a Seinne River Tour Boat with all you can drink wine. I wonder if all the wine had anything to do with it 😁

EDIT - AFTER the forum update I'm trying to make my Paris picture post's thumbnail show up again after the update and it's parsing someone else's picture!!!! So I had to put the link inside a code box!

Not complaining, just wasn't sure if I could put a bug report in here...

Holy smokes! I don't see the message counter in the PM's anymore. Did the limit go away?
 
The site is moving quite nicely now. Thanks for all the efforts, Spark!

For a point of clarity with regards to posting images: Are there limits still in place for members or has their media storage been increased? It might be good to have that be made plain before folks hit that "wall" and get upset again.
 
Site is working really fast and smooth and I was able to post a direct upload photo, awesome! I too would love to know more info about directly posting images and any limits in place. I definitely found myself using BF and posting MUCH less when I had to go back to hosting my images on IMGUR.
