Here is another artifact walrus ivory knife that was a scraper on the handle and a where the ferrul is now was apoint and had . Found on St. Lawerance Island in Alaska by Inuit Eskimos and the artifact was made by Siberian Eskimos about 2,000 yrs ago. A rare handle. I made the Damascus for it with 1084 steel laminated with 15n20 and forge welded the the blade in an unusual pattern twist pattern. Then heat treated it to 59 to 60 on the Rockwell scale. Will hold a great edge. The blade is 4 1/16 inches long and 8 3/4 overall and comes with a free sheath.
I take check of money order. 275 and 10.00 for priority mail.
