Here is an artifact walrus ivory knife that was a punch point that was broken and looked to me to make a great handle. Found on St. Lawerance Island in Alaska by Inuit Eskimos and the artifact was made by Siberian Eskimos about 2,000 yrs ago. A rare handle. Guard and machined threaded carved button are nickel silver and ferrule is sterling silver. I made the Damascus for it with 1084 steel laminated with 15n20 and forge welded the the blade in an unusual pattern. Then heat treated it to 59 to 60 on the Rockwell scale. Will hold a great edge. The knife is 7 3/8 inches overall and comes with a fine hand made leather sheath by Rising star located in Beaumont KY.
I take check of money order. "SOLD" and 10.00 for priority mail.
