Hello folks. Here is a snake skin Damascus knife which is made out of 1/8th inch ball bearings and 4800 KC steel. Makes for a hell of an edge holder so its not just about the looks. Ball bearings are very high carbon steel made to be tough. I made the Damascus. It took 4 days to build. Blade is 7 1/8 inches and overall is 12 1/4 inches. Ferrule and matching butt plate are sterling all other fittings are nickel silver. Handle is fossil Walrus ivory. Very comfortable in right or left hand. Comes with stand and I can have a quality sheath made for about 75.00 . Hope you like it as I enjoyed making it. It is 300.00 plus 12.00 for priority mail. My paypal and e-mail is dangraves4923@earthlink.net

Cant be mailed to New Jersey, or New York due to laws.

Don't know about New York, but there are no laws in New Jersey against selling or owning a knife like that.

Why would you think there are?

nice work, dan!!

i like the way the 'adornments' in the sterling silver bands in the front of - and back of - the handle - pick up on the oval shape of the ball bearings in the damascus!
