Here are some nicely colored fossil walrus ivory tusk sections for hidden tangs. Many have no cracks and no voids, none of them have any fill. It is best to let them acclimate to your climate before using, a month or two would be fine. I am happy to answer any questions about the stuff or working with it. It is guaranteed to be legal, happiness is guaranteed, if you find you can't use it when you get it in your hands, return it for your purchase price back, please do that within seven days. I take all the normal forms of payment, Paypal, checks, or credit cards over the phone. The prices shown will be plus shipping, I ship using USPS flat rate shipping where I can, I ship anywhere it is legal and charge only the actual shipping charges. You may PM me, email me or call me on the phone (though sometimes I have loud machines running and can't hear it).

The genus name, Odobenus, means "one that walks with its teeth". I am soo bummed to be three minutes late.

Are you sure guys?

My nine year old boy and his friend said, when looking at some oosik, "wow, that's not a weenie (one of their favorite words) that's a whopper!" Thus as everyone knows, the infamous nickname for the otherwise noble walrus is, He-Who-Walks-With-A-Whopper (huge wang, aka oosik) often shortened to Whopper-Walker!

Disclaimer: Although this is the correct answer, this is not an official entry. :D

Mike is the winner, congrats Mike. Your mailing address please. Honorable mention goes to Phil, his boy and his boys friend.

Awesome!! I have been wanting to try my hand on some ivory for a while now, just have not had the guts to pull the trigger. This is a great opportunity and much appreciated. I will pm you about my address. Thanks a lot. I am very excited.
