Tusk is 21 inches long.5 1/4 inches on the large end and 2 1/2 on the small end. Very nice tusk solid and some nice coloring.Probably be able to get 4 nice handles out of it or what ever else.Asking $425.00 plus shipping.Can only ship in the USA.Pay pal will work for payment at R2D2Fly@charter.net The first "I"ll Take It" gets it and I might add I have advertised it on two other sites. I bought this and another that is suppose to be a pair at a estate sale about a year ago. The individual that owned them lived in Alaska and moved to Lake Oswego,Oregon right after the big Earth Quake in 1964. He passed away last year and his son is who I purchased them from at the Estate sale.They had a bunch of Walrus Ivory at the sale that he acquired in Alaska and this was all I could afford at the time.

Sounds good, It would be a good idea for you to get a letter from the son, with his contact information, that explains everything you just said. This is one of those tusks that it would be nice to have some paperwork on, just to be safe.

Other than that, the tusk looks like a great deal for $400.00, if you are able to get some paperwork and you find no buyers, please let me know. I would only be buying it for resale and don't want to snag it away from anybody that may be interested.

By the way, how much does it weigh?

I got a receipt of purchase from the estate sale and I have to find it. I"m sure I could get more info from his son if he is still living where the sale was. Also by my post office scale it weighs 2.3 lbs. Forgot to put that in the description. I"ll give it a couple days and see what happens. I"ve had a couple emails on it but nothing positive yet.

I have the receipt from the estate sale when I bought the tusk. Also tried to send you a PM but won"t work. The tusk is still available if you want it. Thanks
