yes difficult cut. takes a lot of time. but it is possible to saw it. The teeth on a band saw cannot be sawed at all =))

how to lose a lot of money on mammoth tusks
we bought material for a large order for bars and dies. the tusk was solid (extracted from permafrost). By the time it arrived, it had thawed and a surprise was waiting for us =)
