Been playing with some smaller designs lately and my interests seem to be heading towards the Bushcraft style knives with small simple drop and spear points. I was digging in boxes looking for something and came across an old 154CM blade I had quickly ground out to fill a minimum order for heat treat. I decided to finish it out with black G10 and brass pins. It is hollow ground out of 1/8in 154CM and the tang is drilled out to reduce weight a bit. I think when I ground it out at first I was thinking small utility/fighter but it fits the Bushcraft role so well :) It is 8 3/8 overall with a 3 7/8 blade.

Pic is showing up for me. Maybe it is the file size? Are you on dial up? That could be it too.

I have no trouble getting the pic, and I'm on dial-up. Maybe the browser is broken. I keep a copy of the installation/setup file on my desktop for my browser cuz I need to reinstall it every couple of weeks, or less. Stupid vista. It only takes a minute or so, but I never had to do that with xp. Sorry for the threadjack.

Sir, that is a mighty fine looking knife. It almost screams for "USE ME FOR BUSCRAFT!"

Thanks for making and sharing this nice knife!

Now, that's a well designed knife! Simple, practical, just right! Excellent whistle you have there, too. I use their slightly smaller model that's nearly as loud, and I'm a believer in them. It's the best $5 you can spend I think. Everybody should have one. I carry one at all times, but then I'm old and gimpy. :D

That is a great looking knife! If I could have one issue with it used for bushcraft, it's that I don't think beadblast is a good finish for in the woods. But other than that,:thumbup:

Geez Bill , you just did that on the fly ??

Looks great ! :)

Is that a shadow or is there a little swedge up top ?

Yep got a little swedge action up top :) Nothing close to sharp up top though. Just a bit removed to help with peircing.

Thats a sweet looking blade. I must say its the kind of a blade that says i would do anything for you... I just looked at the blade again and i must say its one good looking blade. Love it With that finger grove i bet it feels great. Thats an awsome job, must say wow you done it in one day.
