Brasslite makes great ultralight alcohol stoves that are perfect for hiking and disaster kits. They have their stoves on sale and some titanium pots with a lid for $20.

http://www.brasslite.com/OrderForms/cookwareOrder.html for the 600ml pot

http://www.brasslite.com/OrderForms/turbo2FOrder.html for the Turbo II-F stove

Don't get shocked by the shipping-- $10 for the two items above.

Also, their 8oz fuel bottle/dispenser makes fuel handling a breeze: http://www.brasslite.com/OrderForms/bottleOrder.html#8oz

Add some tin foil or flashing for a wind screen and you're ready for ultalight trail cooking.

They list the pot as 95 mm wide x 80 mm tall (3.75 in x 3.0 in). I measured a one liter Nalgene with my cheapie calipers and got 92mm (3-5/8 in). Now we don't know of that is ID or OD on the pot, but I would assume OD, leaving 3mm (0.118 in) to spare. I guess it depends on whether they included the handles...... I'll know for sure in a week when it arrives :)

I like that pot. I usually carry around a beat up coffee can pot, but ti with a lid is much better.

Got my shipment today. The pot fits a one liter nalgene with about 1/8" to spare-- just enough room for some aluminum foil.

Thanks for the heads up.

Sounds like the pot is not ideal for the stove though. Misses by 1/4" ...

"The Turbo II-F and Turbo II-D have a standard pot stand that is 2.5 inches (6.25 cm) in diameter. For best results with both models, a pot or cup with a minimum base diameter of 4.0 inches (10 cm) is recommended."

"Brasslite 600 ml (20 oz) Titanium Mug. Minimalist cook pot for ultralight hiking or leave the lid at home and it's great for use as a drinking cup.
Dimensions: 95 mm wide x 80 mm tall (3.75 in x 3.0 in)."
