I have been playing with some metal, and making some very questionable hawks. Well i have stumbled on to an old forge that was my great grandfathers. Me and my dad were talking and he said he was pretty sure there was one in his old barn, and sure enough there it was. It needs some minor parts but everything is operational so now I guess its time to learn to use it. Any tips on learning material or tips in general would be appreciated. Thanks

Wow, a forge that belonged to your great grandfather- that's too cool. Plenty of sites and forums on the net about forging. Mr Steve of Coal Creek Forge posted some great videos about forging Tomahawks a while back. I'm not sure if they are still available- he doesn't seem to post much lately.
Good Luck with the forge
