I go through sandpaper like crazy and usually use the imperial 3m stuff from the local auto parts store, but its costly. I tried the bulk Klingspor stuff and didn't like it, so I found some bulk 3-M Imperial here: http://www.autobodysupply.net/
 
You might also check out www.abrasives4knives.com. I picked up some of their belys and sheets at a show the end of Feb. It's inexpensive and works well. On 2x72 belts I'm getting about half the performance of a Norton Blaze, but at about 1/3 the price. I'll be using sanding sheets tomorrow.

Nice folks to talk with and what looks like a good product. They are called Hog Abrasives, or Abrasives R Us.
