I usually straighten what can be straightened, and let the rest stay until the rest of the blade is sharpened so many times that it catches up.

In other words, I HATE grinding a blade down just for the sake of one divot, and losing all that wear time on it. Who's to say you wouldn't get another ding after grinding that one out?

Agreed, that's my normal approach and will probably be in this case. I just have to beat it up more soses I get to sharpen it more often.
 
I think you have got yourself a secondary finger choil for extra fine work.
