Only about 20min from my home, and tucked away in Fairfield County, CT is a spot that probably looks as it did 1000's of years ago. I spent about 5 hours walking the trails and not only did I not run into another person, but I didn't even see a piece of trash anywhere! This place was beautiful, the only downside is that there is no camping, hunting, fishing, or pets of anykind allowed. Its a Nature preserve with about 20 miles of trails. Here are some pics!

Good call Brian, what other spots in CT are you not telling me about!

Great find!
I wish I could find an people free place around here...

Nice spot, too bad about the no camping though.

The weather was nice today, a lil hot but most of the trails were under a canopy of trees so I stayed cool. The biggest problem was the bugs!

That is primordial, I'd love to find a place that looks so untouched!

(except for Brians doo-doo :D)

Hey tonym! What kind of hat is that in the pic? I'm thinking that's a cool hat, and would like to know where I can snag one for myself.

Those pics are great by the way! I hardly ever get to see water that still, like in pic #2. -Matt-

Great pics, looks like a great spot.

Brian, I think your expected to pack that out, at least make a cat hole for God's sakes.

I'm going to get a sign made up that says "Please scoop up after your Moderator."
