Found a Dayton 13" drill press thrown out for garbage. Very rusty, missing one of the handles and the chuck is way off center but it runs and I think with some TLC should be a fine piece of gear.

Kinda funny you mentioned that... I'm having back surgery Monday to repair a ruptured disk. Got a neat laptop drafting table, new sketchbook and a bunch of pencils to design knives for the week I'm stuck in the bed.

After recovery I'll probably be out of work because they won't move me from my department which is very hard on your lower back. So after awhile on short term disability I may be moved to long term or out the door. I've got to get some stuff squared away with the VA, probably going to become a full time maker while I finish college.

There are worse things in life and as long as I'm breathing I'm doing better than a lot of people.
