So I was moving some footlockers from deployments an retirement, SHMBO said so. I found my old BlackJack Marauder MkI-A. I know I bought it in 1990, carried it in DS/DS, took it to Central an South America. Iraq 03/04 and broke the sheath (belt loop) in Afghanistan 06. I like the knife but life is much slower now :D

So, do I find a maker for a Kydex sheath or an engraver so the old girl goes in a shadowbox?

Been all over the net looking for the original sheaths. The belt loop can be replaced but the sheath is worn out. I should have bought the nylon one also back in 1990.

PM me any trusted engravers or sheath makers, it would be appreciated.

Shadow box it. All of my cav stuff now hangs on the wall. It reminds me of a special time in my life. If you not gonna use it any more I think it makes a better Momento than getting a new sheath and then ending up back in the footlocker

I would sheath it and use it....

Try River City Sheaths for Kydex, Boltaron or Concealex, they do a very good job. For a nice leather sheath you might try Skystorm Leather.

These are only a couple. There are a number of good sheath makers out there.

Eventually I want to make myself a knife cabinet for knives hatchets etc.
Something that displays and lets me easily grab one for the day. Kind of like this.
