So far, I think it's:

Order 1:
LE

Order2:
Blue/Black G10 Mag with Urban Gray
Snakeskin with Tan
Green Linen Mag with Green

Order 3:
Green/Black G10 with Jungle Camo


Next up is:

Green Linen Mag with Desert Camo


Seems like I ought to get a black on black too, but that's going to have to wait. Maybe I'll snag one at the Company Store when they turn up there.

While you were having fun buying knives I was stuck out here on Taft Pt on the south side of Yosemite Valley at about 7-8000 ft. Now I'm in the grand room of the hotel where they have a wireless connection and all kinds of scotch!!!!

El Cap and the North American Wall to the right. The nose is a 5,000 ft face:eek: The top is about 8,000 and the Valley is about 3,000

One of the Fissures at Taft Pt. If you fall in there you don't stop for about 1,500 ft. Every spring the rangers pick up bodies under this area from cross country skiers that break through snow bridges over the fissures. I'm sure that Skunk will be sending the X here to ski next year.

View from the room's balconey. Yosemite Falls on the right I'll be up there tomorrow!

Have fun! My legs will be screaming tomorrow but I have not been to the top of the falls in 10 years! It is about 2.5 hours up at a very fast pace. My girlfriend will be staying behind to work on her book.

This is exactly what happened to a friend of mine at the end of September. Stiles Cummings was camping at Yosemite with his brother and brother's girlfriend, he vanished (apparently left the camp without even taking his shoes), and they found his body in a crevice about 20 miles away a few weeks later.

Stiles was an avid professional bicyclist, and will be missed. :(

Sorry to derail the thread, but looking at the pictures of Yosemite brings up emotions. I wasn't close with Stiles, but I am friends with the brother who was there when he vanished.
