researching this - found out that the 'network unreachable' message when doing a traceroute check doesn't necessarily mean much. it can just mean that a server doesn't answer the 'ping packets'. try doing a traceroute on cnn.com and you'll find the same thing as on the HI site....

so the problem for Ankerson still seems inexplicable! :( Is anyone else having similar problems?? Or have ideas for a solution?

Worked for me as well. I'm on Windows ME. The website loaded really fast too, a helluva lot faster than Bladeforums.com.:grumpy:

yes, the new host for the website is fast! and cheaper than the one we had before too (only US$20 / year! ).
 
Figure this one out:

I tried 3 different browsers on 4 different machines here at home, none of them worked. IE 5, IE 6 and The Linux browser.:grumpy:

So I said what the hell, opened AOL 8 and it worked fine...:eek:

I had AOL 8 installed on one machine because of work.
 
I finally realized that there is a certain amount of magic and voodoo associated with computers.

I'm using XP Pro and Explorer 6 and have no problems reaching the site.

I would like to say, I really appreciate the new pictures on the site. They give greater detail...
