The fixed blade is $4.95 from Gander Mt., 440? SS.
It was right next to a Winchester brand knife that I swear is IDENTICAL but costs 6 times as much. It actually took a nice edge, but the handle is kind of uncomfortable. I threw it in the glove box of my truck.
The Vic Camper was $1 at the thrift store! The lady wanted $4 at first but I pointed out the broken blades and she came down to a buck
This will be fun to customize. I reground the broken points and modified the flathead to be a chisel and ground a good edge on the can opener
(can't have too many sharp things). I am going to try making some custom scales for it and put together something like the "Hood Rig" in that other thread. On the down side, my wife said "now you don't need to buy that SAK you were looking at"
Also, I cut my thumb pretty bad while sharpening it on my Lansky.
