I was just searching Ebay and happened across two different copies of “Tool Steel Simplified”, I highly recommend this book. It has loads of information that I have not commonly found elsewhere. If everybody had a copy of this one, a whole lot of heat treating misinformation would just fade away.

Thank you, Kevin. Of course, I won't win them (:grumpy:), but l'd like to get them just the same.

Thanks Kevin. Took a look there and decided to check around.
If you do a search for it here http://www.alibris.com/ you'll find it's pretty easy to get, starting at $6.50 plus shipping.

I'll be ordering one.

Thank you, DL. If Kevin recommends it, I'll be getting it.

Done Deal. Got mine for 12.50. Thanks Kevin and Dan.

LOL, I bid on the second one listed and I am high at $13. I shoulda red farther. Still hope I get it. If not I know where to get one.

I regularly browse Alibris, Abebooks and Bookfinder for anything of interest but I thought one may be able to grab one off e-bay even cheaper and more people know e-bay. But to be honest doing searches for books of interest on the three sites mentioned above will allow you to fill out your library in no time. A copy of "Tool Steels Simplified" and the "Heat Treaters Guide" would set somebody up pretty good for a while.
