Schrade Cut Co Fixed blades pre 1946 are quite elusive to find.
I just found the little brother to my 365.
The 365 is 9" in length and the smaller is 8".
Either not many were made or they have all been used over the past 60/70/80? years. No brochures or details of manufacture have surfaced to date. Can anyone add to their history or show any? Hoo Roo
P.S. Tang Stamps are different font and the pommel pinning is different as per photos.

Hi,Larry,I have a Schrade Cut. Co. fixed blade that looks just like your smaller one, but has black-red-black bands and is marked 395,same font as the one on the right. I've never been able to find any info on it either,if you find any please pass it along,thank,G.M.

Larry,

That's one beautiful knife. Love the look of a round pummel on leather handled knives.

We still aren't settled on the maker though. And I don't have an example yet to compare to the suspects. But... who made these sheath knives for Kingston? Same maker?

Measurements are: 6" long blade, 10 3/8" overall length.

...just bringing up this thread again to see if anyone has found any more Schrade Cut Co Fixed blades since I last put it up.
Grey Menace is the only other member I believe to say they have one. Can you show us a photo please GM?
You would think there was some literature or mention in previous catalogs however none has surfaced to date. The folders steal all the limelight.
Any info or photos to add from anyone? They really are quality built fixed blades.Hoo Roo

Here is a pic of one I traded to a member on this forum some time ago, but I don't know if they still have it.

I also procured one of these later, although I do not currently have a pic handy.

And yes, they are elusive...

Okay, I dug out my example of a 365 this morning. Here's a couple quick pics.

It's not fancy like your examples, Larry, but as you said, they do seem scarce, so it's nice to have one in the stable...

Great to see Glenn. Its interesting that they are obviously blood brothers however the Tang fonts are not the same. The Tang font on my 365 is sloping whilst your example is upright although your upright version is different font again to the smaller Cut Co.
Schrade.....go figure! I wish someone would produce a photo of a luvly catalog with dates or other literature on the Cut Co Fixed blades on here,.. however not likely to happen I feel.My favorite search on the Bay for many years has been'Schrade Sheath Knife' and including the word sheath has produced some amazing examples for me thru the years like the Divers Marine knives and that 'one of one 'Schrade Cutlass with the greenish wood handle from the "Wall"... however now 90% is Taylor crapppp coming up....complete with cardboard sheaths...wonder how they handle the wet! Hoo Roo and Happpyyy Nooooo Year to all my American friends.
