Hello everyone!
First of all, sorry for my bad english, it isn't my native language.

So, just few days ago, I found few knives in the basement in our old house in countryside.

Since I don't know anything about knives, I decided to ask a few questions here. AFAIK, they are used for slicing meat.

1. Maybe a silly question, but will any of these knives be a good knife for self defense? I'm planning to clean and sharpen one of them and bring them home. I know I hopefully won't ever need a knife for self defensive, but..
2. Longest one, AFAIK, is a bayonet?

Here are few photos..

Even my turkey sandwich?

A man could be smothered by a turkey sandwich, John. He would probabaly die from frustration first though...being that the last thing he'll ever taste is a bland, semi warm turkey sandwich. Wouldn't wish that end on my worst enemy, man.

Welcome! You have answered your own question about self-defense...

We are but meat, and slicing it can serve as self-defense.

The first two look like homemade or at least rehandled gardening knives and the bayonet has been heavily modified from its original state. Ruined is a good word.
