WHEWW, I had bad thoughts about this thread just by its title ! "Found this knife in a bush" But i can't lie, i was hoping for some pics ! LOL :D

Great find. Any free knife is a good knife & finding it in a bush, is just, well, icing on the cake ! :D

if it said "found class ring from '76," then i'd be thinking the same way you were. with a knife, not so much.:)

to the op, put it to use. perfect for tasks you know will ruin your edge on your nicer folders.

Lot's of you B.C. boys around. The knife is a P.O.S. but you could use it for cutting sod etc. I find many knives and axe heads every year while metal detecting. If they are post 1870 or so I have zero interest in them.

Not bad for a free knife. Cheap doesn't mean useless.

If I find a knife and plan on keeping it, I STERILIZE IT! Boil it or scrub it with bleach or both. Even if you don't see any blood on it doesn't mean there isn't any. It's a simple precaution to take. I wouldn't want to be in possession of a knife with some crime victims DNA on it.

beat the hell out of it. mod it to the point of ruining it. id have NO worries with it. that thing would get a razor like tip on it and id be throwing it at trees

You can also roast them or even deep fry them for better results. It brings out the flavor of the knife.
Too much CSI killgar...
