You could probably get a knife like that of your own for low price and return that one to it's owner. Doing the right thing and returning that knife to the person that lost it will bring more happiness the knife itself.

If your can't find the original owner, keep it. Otherwise send it home. That's what you'd want the person that found your knife to do.
