That is a killer looking BAS and about perfect weight.
Liveitloud that is a awesome deal and it will re-handle in micarta or wood in a heartbeat if you don't like the horn.
Now the big question is how long will that Rusty SD be homeless?

Yes! I scored it. Thanks oldschool45. It looks like an awesome blade. I am not a big fan of horn but we'll see how it goes. It may get some new pants sometime down the road. Thanks again to Yangdu for a great deal!!! :D:D

Liveitloud, do you have a 15" AK or CAK? I have a suspicion that the Bahadur handles a lot like one. Mine thumps pretty good on a chop and better than my 12" CAK but not in the same league as my M43.

That is an awesome BAS , I'm tempted if its still around tonight I may grab it

The scabbard is right on

No the only other HI's I have are a Kerambit and a Ganga Ram Bonecutter. I am really looking forward to this one. Now if I can snag one of those jungle knives I would be very happy.

Liveitloud how big is the GR/BC? If its one of the 16" I think the Bahadur will act pretty close if its a 22" there won't be many similarities.
alexs, I'd shoot the email off now! There haven't been many blems in this last batch and those 2 don't look much like blems.

Oh, if I had the money, I wouldn't even hesitate as I don't have a BAS yet. So far I haven't seen a "blem" that had anything wrong with it beyond minor cosmetics irrelevant for a user knife.

Liveitloud please do a comparison when you get them together.
alexs, I understand that. If one of the new Bonecutters came up I'd be hiding it(knife and the money spent) from the wife:p

Will do oldschool. Tonight has been knife nirvana. Just got confirmation on the shipment of my 2 new Spyderco Persians. It's going to be on at the house this week! ;)

I really had to resist e-mailing for the Sirupati and the BAS today as they are both in a size to weight ratio I like. I don't have a BAS or any Bhakta for that matter; but I've gone overboard on knives and stupidly allowed my Ducati side stand to sink into the ground and topple over so now have to spend my knife money on repairs.

Ducati's are too high dollar to have laying on the ground. :) Better fix her up.

Sirupati by the Prince and its looks like Sager's usual superb work is still homeless.....
Liveitloud I'm on hold on folders till Sal does a sprint run on the Persistence in a real blade steel... come on D2 or M4 and its BINGO time.
