Here are some forged knives patterned after one found in a Viking burial site. Forged from 1095, these would make good stocking stuffers. They range in size from 3 7/8" to 4 3/8".

Would one of those make a good flint striker?

I'd have to assume that they are a carbon steel and therefore would throw a hot spark...

They may spark, but I never tried them.
