Four Inch USA-Made Stockman: The Ultimate Jackknife

Swapped my (actually) pocket worn Case 6375cv into my pocket today.
5 "x" 1 "•" left in the dayt code = 2014 or 2015?

(i•R not sure if the "•" bee tween the 2 "x" on second line is really there. I only C it in pictures.)

That date code would be for 2014. The tang stamp starts with five 'dots' and five 'X's in 2010. Then one 'dot' is removed each successive year, starting in 2011, with the last 'dot' removed in 2015. The 'X's would then be removed, one by one, starting in 2016. So, on your stamp, four of the 'dots' are gone (for 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014), leaving the one single 'dot' and five 'X's remaining as seen in your photo.

I attached a screen grab image of a description of the stamps from an online dealer whom, I believe, probably isn't a BF sponsor dealer. So, I won't link the site here.

My most carried stockman in the 4" category is the Buck 301 followed by the 319. Plenty of pics of those posted. I tend to prefer slightly smaller stockmans like the Buck 303, but one other 4 incher I have is this Moore Maker which I think was made by Bear. Fine knife, well made, I just prefer the Bucks most of the time.
