EMS = email sent

DD = Done Deal, which means that you received an email from auntie, and that the item you ems'd for is now yours. Remit payment, plus shipping costs, and then wait for the triangle box to appear on your doorstep in a few days!

Long Gone = Means that you received an email from auntie, and the item you ems'd for has been claimed by another forumite already.

Posting an EMS on the forum about an item is a courtesy. Just because you didn't see an ems on an item, doesn't mean it is available, it means that it may be available. The only way to be sure, is to email auntie about the item your interested in, and await her response. There are many, many stealth sharks in these waters.

Even if an item is gone, you can always email auntie and see if she has another.
 
Stealth sharks have broken my heart, but auntie managed to mend it by finding a perfect "other one" for me. Pretty cool!
