Only thing cut has been a few pieces of paper, and unfortunately the leather retaining strap. I drew the blade without thinking and sliced part of the strap, but NOT all the way through. This thing is crazy sharp from the factory and made from N690 steel. If you don't know, N690 was originally used for straight razors in Europe, but has been growing a fan base recently among hard-use knife makers. It holds an edge as well as most "super steels" and is easier to sharpen than most of them as well, apart from being stainless! The cobalt steel is extremely wear resistant, but doesn't chip or become brittle like most "harder" steels, especially stainless types due to the chromium content being less. By far my favorite steel and I've used most all the "best" out there including $700 Striders and $850+ full customs. It has a very large belly and shaped to easily skin game, unlike its curved-blade kin. It would make a fantastic hunting blade with the ring for retention and excellent blade profile. Only reason I'm selling is that I'm used to the standard curved blades, especially for my self-defense tactics. It's just hard to unlearn what I've spent time committing to muscle memory. The blade would make a fantastic daily carry for that purpose, just not what I'm used to, and I'm working on several full custom blades that are in different stages of completion.
You can look up pics from the internet to see what I'm talking about, so I won't bother posting. I can't guarantee that I can find the box, but if so I will provide it. Comes with a very nice leather sheath. I'm looking to get $100 for this, shipped CONUS. USPS Money Orders are preferred and will ship immediately upon receiving payment. Anything else must clear my bank first and they are remarkably slow at that process, unfortunately.
