Was flipping around looking at knives on Google Images and saw the SPECWOG Warrior Knife

Really like how it looks

I found it for sale <link to non-paid dealer site removed> for between $40-$70.

Was skeptical when I saw this price so I looked around and found the Fox Knives USA site and got a much different price of $290.

Anyone lay hands on one of these? Wondering if it's a decent knife and worth the price. Seems a little steep but what do I know.

I really don't see how that's useful.... and I am NOT sharpening that thing!

I haven't played with that fox knife yet; however, the one i have & own are excellent. wonderful fit & finish, ridiculously sharp out of package and i think they have a warranty for them. not 100% curtain on that

If it is from Aliexpress, it's a fake.

That being said, I have bought a couple of Chinese Domestic knives from their and have had nothing but good experiences with the website.

To me... it looks like it would be okay at food prep but looks really good at harvesting said food. Think scythe on a small scale. Other then that it looks good at opening a belly. Not that I would buy it for that. ;)

I don't own that particular model, but I have a few Fox knives and their quality is great. They've made knives for some well known companies like Spyderco (fixed blade Hossom knives and the Volpe), Ontario (Retribution folder) and TOPS . They also helped to develope some of the goofy Mykel Hawke stuff, but let's not hold that against them. :)

Anyway, I'm happy with my Fox knives and I'm sure they are worth the asking price (I hope they get more dealers and perhaps drive prices down a bit).

Still incomplete. Fell asleep somewhere between 1st and 2nd post.

I can't speak to the particular knife you are looking at, but i had a Fox Deimos folder and it was excellent. Came with great fit n finish, reasonable priced, and excellent materials. The two Maniago, Italy made knives i have; a LionSteel SR-1D, and the Fantoni HB-01 seem to me to be as well built as any American made knife in the same price range. Unfortunately I had to sale the Deimos, along with the rest of my collection to pay hospital bills. I am in the process of rebuilding and am choosing only the knives that i really liked, and the Deimos is on my list.

It does look like an advanced caveman knife... purpose built to make a mess of something. I'm thinking zombies or cannibals. I certainly wouldn't EDC something like that or even the folder I posted a picture of. Either one of them would be be attached to a bug out bag or worn for SHTF. I guess when I put it out there like that, what's the point in wasting the money on it. But then, you could apply that logic to a lot of things.

And yes... the name does have a mall ninja ring to it. LOL

I removed the link to the knockoff site in the first post. They aren't a paid dealer here and we really don't need to be giving them any more traffic. The links to the Fox website are fine as they are a manufacturer.

Fox makes a quality product so I would bet the build quality is quite solid. The design is, for me, a bit lacking, but if you like it go for it.

Decided to try out a $59 knockoff from manafont. Review made no claims to be real and compared it to the actual one and stated it as being good quality.
I'll post an update when I get it if anyone is interested

The knockoff knife is pretty sweet seems to be very well built. The Jude's sheath seems about what you'd expect except the hardware is garbage and it doesn't seem to line up with the holes.
I'll probably just get a couple malice clips and run it that way. Overall I'd say it was a pretty good buy.
