Fox-N-Hound Damascus?

Hey all,

I was just browsing around online, looking at various damascus-bladed lockbacks, and I came across this brand. From what little I can find, the Fox-n-Hound brand seems to be a decent one as far as the quality goes, but I'm just wondering if anyone has seen one of these damascus models in person. They definitely look nice. I obviously wouldn't expect anything great for $30, but if they're total junk, I'd just as soon hang on to my money.

All the info I can find out about them points to the blades being made of real damascus, though, rather than just etched carbon steel. Interesting... I may just have to buy one to see it for myself.

Anyone have any experience with these?

I picked one up a couple of years ago, (large lockback) and like you said "don't expect anything great" as far as the damascus goes. But it still locks up pretty solid and for the money it's a serviceable user. I guess it depends on what you want it for. It's sure not a collectors item.
