Blade HQ’s gonna email me when the carbon fiber model is in stock. Just over 2 ounces.

Anyone else trying to get one? What do you think of it based on specs and pics?

This is the kind of wacky engineering I love. It's the anti-4Max. If the price doesn't make me choke, I'll be in for one.

Love the design in every way. Except that some unsupervised 3-year old apparently got loose in the Fox factory and covered all of them with insane, stupid, absurd, ugly bubbles. Besides that I seriously love it.

Yeah I would like to try one too. I hole the model is successful so we can see more knives with this construction.

That said I wish they woukd have gone with a straighter slimmer handle design like on the sebenza.

Hell yeah I am not a fan of knives that have a bunch of “speed holes” in the handle. All they seem to do to me provide windows for gunk to get in.

I don’t trust it. It looks like a gunk collector, and I don’t care about weight under 6oz, so the 2oz isn’t a selling point to me.

If the lock works, I think it will be a brilliant move, and will collect awards at Blade West.

Why no pics on this thread? I also like the design, except of course, the previously mentioned over-hole-iness

Please just offer us a version in cf without any holes? :)

it looks both impressive and innovative, but weight as a main selling point is not something that interests me. in a few years maybe, gonna let someone else pay for it now.

I'm unclear how this knife is better . Another solution looking for a problem or just cool because it's different ?

I wonder if there is an over extender in the lock face. Carbon fiber can flex somewhat, but in essence is a brittle material that will shatter instead of bending.
