THe Foxy Folly Khukri is calling my name but the one I did see that was being sold was sold by the time I saw it. I have become obbessed with getting one but see it is going to be hard to get one. Does anyone have one that they are willing to sell for a decent price (nomore than $130). I would like it to either be unused or slightly used, if that is possble.

Thanks:)

Your best bet is going to be to check the exchange forums. All dealings have to be done there. You might think about upgrading your membership to a basic, gold, or platinum:)

What types of handles have the FFs been made in? Can folks post some pics of their prized FFs here for us to enjoy?

Here is a JW Foxy Folly handled WWII from a DOTD last September:

I sent Yangdu an e-mail and am hoping for a posistive reply. If she does'nt have the 17in/24oz version what do you think is the next best size for chopping and to be used also as a knife?

I'm pretty sure Yangdu can have one made for you. It might take a few weeks, but that's the best way to get exactly what you want.

I have one but it's not for sale. If you get a good one it's a good one.

As I recall for some reason some of them had problems with tempering.

probably has to do with the edge geometry, but to be sure you'd have to ask Ferguson himself.

For a proper answer you'd have to email Yangdu with that question.

Mine chopped great. I'll try to post some pics when I get home.

Here's a pic of mine. I picked it up in trade on another forum and had the Sarki shop make up a new sheath for it.

That's beautiful! Now I want to get one even more. By chance did you get that at the Extra Hi Khukri thread because I was about to see what the trade was until I noticed it was gone.

Not asking for much are you?

I would dare suggest the going price is $150 if that is what the one I posted to you sold for...

Wanting and getting are two different things; it took me 6 months and over $200 to get my FF, that was how badly I wanted one, and if getting it cost $200, so be it.

All the answers to your questions regarding the history of the FF are in past threads in this sub-forum. I'll give you a place to start:

Enjoy the search. It will give you a greater appreciation of the Khukuri that calls to you. :D
