On a spine whack test which would fail first a liner lock or frame lock, and yes I know there ate others such as the axis lock and triad lock but I'm focused on the frame lock and liner lock and explain why which one you think would win

It really depends on the knives being tested, and either way it doesn't really matter.

Essentially, what bpeezer said.....The cheaper, junkier one would lose.

And a fixed blade would win.

Spine whack tests are not a good indicator of the knives' locking strength or quality. Stop wasting your time and potentially ruining a good knife and hurting yourself. Or just buy a fixed blade and give up folders.

I don't think any of those locks could eat the other....also, knives are for cutting, not hitting.......

Everyone knows that unless it's a Triad Lock it will automatically fail and chop off your finger tips.

I've had a lot of different quality tactical folders over the yrs and so far the frame locks on my Cold Steel Holdout 1 and Rajah 2 are the stoutest I've owned or seen.

Those aren't frame-locks.
Those are Tri-Ad locks.

First I want to know what's purpose of spine wack on a folder.

With my kitchen knives I do all the time, folders? Why????
