anyway..then were does the idea from the eccentric pivot pin comes from? I know I read it somewhere.

Yeah we have reached confusion allright...
I mixed stoppin and pivot up .... I ment I read somewhere about an eccentric stoppin.
An eccentric pivot is where you can move the blade by rotating the stoppin, not the screw that tightens it. It's like on a rekat..if you hold both wrenches and turn them both to the same side, nothing will happen to the tension, just the pivot pin rotates.
Now if you drill the hole in the pivot pin slightly of center, if you turn it then, you can move the blade a little bit in every direction. problem is..how are ya gonna keep the pivot in that position? Spyderco apparently figured out how.
Just for the record..so a sebbie has no means of adjusting for wear other then it's own construction and resending to the factory???
I find that hard to believe if even spyderco can figure out how to do this in a genius way I may add. This could imply that say a starmate can wear more then a sebbie and still function, at at least half the price...and it even has better steel too !
