framelock collector

The hopefully soon to be coming New Kershaw Flippers in the JunkYard Dog and the RJ Martin Groove are both Frame-Locks with the new innovative flipper type opening (I know the flipper per-se is not new - but these Kershaws are different and very effective - see discussion and more details in the linked thread - New Kershaw Flippers).

IMHO can't beat a well made framelock. I well made liner lock comes close and I like the axis but the framelock is number with me!

I've found (maybe) 154cm versions of the EDC on sites one doesn't often, or ever, see mentioned here. They're all priced at around $50 or better. Don't know as I want to pay that much for that knife. I may just decide the AUS 8 is "good enough" and save myself $25.
Well, that quickly became a non-issue, as I rather suspected it might. Of the three sites: The Blade Shop didn't actually have it, it seems Movie Swords is absolutely not to be trusted, and the third site is an apparently unknown (in that I find no mention of him anywhere) knife maker and seller out of Idaho by the name of C.T. Fischer, who takes only cash, check or money order.

Well, at least now I can stop obsessing about the damn thing! :)

Just buy an AUS8 version for $25...
