I have a project ongoing with Reese that has been almost a year. It's a Ti (.160") fixed blade (tanto) version of his Nighthawk folder. Chisel ground, torch colored hamon, Jap wrap with rayskin. Blade will be 6" and 12" overall.

Nighthawk Folder:

The wait is worth it though. My knife will be marked "proto" and will have several bible verse references on the flat side.

Sounds like she'll be a beauty...but that's nuts - a whole year now?

Does he take deferred payment? Does he require a down payment before he'll start the job? Or does he ask for full payment upfront?

He prefers to take a payment on completion, but I always pay him forward. I can get away with that cuz I'm a regular, but in the end you need to call and ask him. He's busy at Blade Show right now, but in a week, he should be settled down again.

Lycosa... Just talked to Krein, he's at Blade right now. He saidd he'll finally get around to my BM42 after Blade... He's had that knife for approx 5 months now.
