Might help to know the thickness of the spine at the ricasso and the steel, if you know it? Many Bernard knives are 440C, I believe? With the fall hunting season coming up, this should make a nice affordable gift or user for someone. Great size for deer.

Ted,

Had a thought you might be interested in a trade for the knife shown below, a Jim Rehrer hunter that’s in the same size range as your Bernard, just a little stouter at almost 3/16” thick, with green micarta scales on red liners and O-1 steel, 3 ¾” hollow ground blade, black leather pouch sheath. I'd add some cash.

If you've any interest, please email me.

thanks,
will

Received the knife today, Ted was very easy to deal with and very prompt delivery. The knife is as described by Ted, nice and light in the hand and very nice burl for wood scales.

Thanks, Rich

I believe Franco, is the son of Arno Bernard and I know several custom knife dealers post Arnos' knives for sale. I hope that help to some degree.
