For sale, a rare Frank Beltrame 28cm/11" Humpback and a Frank Beltrame 28cm/11" Swinguard.
I believe the Humpback is from the first limited run, ca. 2004. It has faux-tortoise scales that were specially made for Frank B. and fully-lined nickle-silver bolsters. These are coil-spring operated and don't kick like leaf-spring autos, but it opens reliably.
This is not a grade-A example. The knife is somewhat curved if you sight down the spine and there's a bit of a gap between a section of the front scale material and the liner near the middle. There's also quite a bit of side-to-side blade play, but that can be mitigated with some careful peening of the pivot pin if you're up to the task.
It's still a beautiful knife in great condition with the blade grind and overall finish of a Latama/Walt's Classic, which are also made by Frank B. These old Humpbacks usually sell for between $200 and $250+ if you can find one, but I'm letting this one go for a measly $130.00 SOLD.
The swinger has an unusually nice buffalo horn front scale; solid black horn on the back. Stainless bolsters. Fires hard and fast. Has some side-to-side blade play, pretty typical for these, but no up-and-down play. Guard lies perpendicular to bolster when open. Good blade centering in the closed position. Asking $125.00 shipped. SOLD
Payment via PayPal Goods and Services and the fees are on me. Prices include priority shipping in the ConUS only. No trades, Please. If you have any questions, PM me or send email to zos_kia@earthlink.net
