I live in the old school knife maker Mecca of the Missouri /Arkansas borderlands and have had the pleasure to handle and purchase a lot of nice customs from some well known makers(Dozier, Lile, McGinnis, Rhea, ect. ect). Frank Pummill is one of these. He is a contemporary of Mr. Lile and from what I understand they where really good friends. I have no way of knowing how old this knife is or who it was made for but I've been lucky enough to have it for several years but now I'm going to pass it on if anyone is interested. There really isn't a lot out there on this guy on the inter webs but folks around here sure know of him. This knife is very sharp with what I'm assuming is the original edge but it did spend the first part if it's life in a sheath which produced no rust due to the amazing mirror polish but it does have hairline scratches on it. I'm sure they would come out but I've never tried. Mr. AG Russell told me in mint condition this would be in the five to six hundred dollar range but due to obscurity and the non-mint condition I'm going to ask for $300 pay pal. I'll eat fees and shipping. Thanks y'all.

So Frank didn't advertise his work of art ? yeah people know about him through knives but never seen him even on internet! but the point is he didn't seemed into marketing his products like different companies are doing these days... is it so? or am I wrong about it?
