I have since discovered I am unlikely to get anything back and am starting a new thread... :mad:
 
Rob contacted me regarding this transaction for advice and let me see most/all of the correspondence between the two of them. In Rob's comments above, he is exhibiting incredible patience and restraint, while expressing overly generous and optimistic comments (when put in context of what's going on) for the unpleasant situation in that he finds himself.

In quite some time, I haven't heard of someone so seemingly honest and sincere on the surface, but in the end, was unable to deliver (time and time again). Additionally, in a short period of time, he has experienced more "dire instances of personal calamity" than anyone I've heard of in a long while.

This situation has already gone far longer than it should and if this trade doesn't come to an honorable, rapid conclusion, the expression "FUBAR" comes to mind. But for the short-term, I will withhold final judgment but felt a public warning was prudent at this time.

Presently, I would seriously recommend caution in dealing with Frank.

If anything changes with this trade, Rob (Bobby B) will certainly give a fair and accurate update.

I don't know... my wife says I am too trusting, and maybe I am.:confused: But most of my dealing with people on BF have been excellent with a couple of exceptions.

Steve (Frank99) certainly seemed to want to right any problems his bad luck caused; he just seemed to have an awful lot of them in a 2 week period.

We'll see... Right now I am out a mint Buck Mayo 172, and a few other things, my estimate about $250-300. :( But nowhere near what it could have been.

I still think he will pop up with an apology and explanation... at least I hope so...:)

He's had some terrible luck, from what he told me, and I am sympathetic, but would like to hear back about what's going on...
