Franken Blades! Post pics of your creations

A while ago I blade swapped a Delica ZDP189 blade into the Titanium handles of a Ti-Damascus .
The idea was to make the my ultimate Delica .
The funny thing was that the FRN handled Damascus bladed knife that was put together from the unwanted parts , actually became my favourite and the Ti-ZDP sat at home more often .

It's a awesome sheath! Very handy for either neck knife or belt carry..

This is a 2014 Ti Military and a 2016 camo/black one. Amazingly enough the lockup on them both is perfect after the switch. I was dumbfounded to see that they both went back together absolutely dead centered. The actions are actually more smooth after the switch than before. This was a win for me! I wish I had completely blacked out hardware for the Ti version.

Thanks! Lamination is quite symmetrical. My sharpening is less so :o
Still practicing my free hand when lowering the angle.

You have many franken Delica ... Very nice too! How does the Damascus performing?
 
Funny, I have quite a few knives modded in various ways, but they're all Benchmades. My 18 Spydies are all just as I bought 'em new or used, save for lanyards and sharpening. Guess they must all be perfect right outta the box! :thumbup:
 
This isnt as cool as some of the swaps on here, but id been saving these black scales for over a year waiting on a m4 pm2

It must be your photography skill, it looks so nice & sleek and keep making me wanting a Delica. Unfortunately, I don't find the handle comfortable for me, trying 2 (SB & ZDP) of my friend's
 
I always wanted an all black Endura Emerson Wave. The only black bladed version was the Bayoushooter Exclusive. I got one as well as a black handled Endura and my creation was born. The green/black on the standard Endura looks great.

Another want was an all black Chinese Lum. Grabbed the black almite ZDP-189 version and swapped the blade from a black/foliage green one.

Have a pair of Urbans but never like the Wharncliff blade on the orange. Swap fixed that problem.

Straightened the spine of the blade and added a longer pocket clip on my DF ZDP189 .
Don't carry it much , it's just to small for my daily requirements ,but it is a lot of knife in a small package .

Great lookin knife! I see you switched the backspacer too, cool idea! I'm guessing a burnt orange Stretch would look pretty sweet with the black backspacer as well. I can see this happening in my future, haha! :D

In fact, all components are from HAP40 except for the two black FRN slabs. Just my preference, keeping all hardware the same.
Black doesn't show dirt & grime much ;)
