OK, here's an oddball giveaway, if anyone wants to go for it. I had it on my list to create myself a frankenleek between the OCC chopper leek and the s30V G10 leek. I finally came across the right knives in trade, and the result is the OCC spider w/ s30V and 1/2 G10, no clip. Just what I wanted. NOW, the other knife with the black blade is the remains of my frankenexperiment. It's up for grabs!!!!! also, your prize includes a new JYDI (2 knives)
Rules:

-Ends friday Night 7/18/08 9pm PST
-Submit your favorite Frankenstein or monster pictures and/orJokes. No limit per day or hour. Funniest wins
-You MUST pre-agree to convert the Frankenleek you win into another Frankenleek of your own creation within say 3 weeks of receipt and post pictures to this thread.
(so, you will have to own at least one other Leek or parts)
-Minimum 50 posts

*Frankenleeks are mutations, freaks of nature. Those who participate in such activities are playing God, and as such... Frankenleeks are not covered by Kershaw. (as far as I know)

Good Luck!

That's disgusting...no, scary...no, both!

You're a sick man, spiral! :D

And to follow it up with pics of Joe Piscopo!

Here's my feeble attempt. A quote from a great Frankenstein movie.

[Frankenstein, Igor and Inga in front of HUGE castle doors]
"Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: What knockers!
Inga: Oh, thank you doctor."

For those who've seen it this should bring a small chuckle.

Young Frankenstein, 1974. Teri Garr and Gene Wilder. One of my favorite movies of all time.

("What hump?")

Umm, a quote from www.foodandhealing.com from their online article titled "Frankenstein Food" (Get it??, FRANK-EN-STEIN???)

"Keep your sense of wonder and try this recipe with organic potatoes." The recipe can be found here: http://www.foodandhealing.com/article-frankensteinfood.htm

The recipe in question is a recipe for potato leek soup.(Get it...LEEK soup???)

FRANKEN-LEEK.....FRANKENSTEIN FOOD...LEEK SOUP. FRANKENSTEIN LEEK FOOD SOUP. All makes sense to me, OE:thumbup:

I think my franken-google skills are pretty much the industry standard at this point;) Essentially, what I'm saying is, the rest o' youz guys can pretty much give up at now:D

One of Mel Brooks great movies from the '70s. There were a lot of great lines in that movie.

"Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Eyegor.
Igor: Froadrick."

Same here. The pinnacle of Mel Brooks' movie making, 1974, IMHO. "Blazing Saddles" and "Young Frankenstein".

BTW: I don't have any Leeks to cannibalize to make a Franken Leek, but this thread made me think of the movie, so I though I'd post for fun.
